Book Signing

BOOK SIGNING on 3/27: Sarah Bischoff, Professor of Interior Design, published a book in September of 2023 in collaboration with 21 Endicott Interior Design students/alumni School of Visual and Performing Arts. Her book “Design Like a Girl: 30 groundbreaking women architects and designers” features twenty-one students/alumni as portrait illustrators for the publication. Sarah will be hosting a book signing around 3:30 p.m. in the LBS lobby following the Seaside Symposium presentation.

Books will be available for purchase for $34.99.

Sarah Bischoff ’99 wanted to know about the women.

As associate professor of interior design at Endicott College in Massachusetts, she read textbooks with entire chapters on the works of Frank Lloyd Wright, I.M. Pei, or Michelangelo but little to no information on the accomplishments of their female contemporaries. She decided to write her own..

​Today is the perfect day to highlight a special accomplishment by our VP of Education, Sarah Bischoff, and her students. When teaching an Architectural History course she realized that many of the trailblazing females in design and architecture were left out or overlooked in the textbooks. This inspired her to write Design Like a Girl: 30 Groundbreaking Women Architects and Designers Throughout History.
